Rahim Shah has just released his latest album "Saba Ru". The name is quite interesting as According to Rahim "Saba is the name of the person in focus and 'Ru' in Pushto means Slowly. This album is indeed another feather in Rahim Shahs feathery cap. "Saba Ru" was released under the sponsorship of a local Cigarette manufacturing company. In contrast to his previous albums, Rahim Shah in this album has proved to have developed into a maturely captivating artist. He is no more confined to Pushto support, "Saba Ru" includes songs from all categories and communicate an exquisite flavour of every kind of music. Be it a folk Bhangra or a sentimental number. This album has something for everyone. "Saba Ru" consists of a number of catchy, pleasing songs with good compositions. "Saba Ru" is the title song apart from this there is Payal, Tera Sharmana and Ishq. Through special arrangement from Ghulam Ali, Rahim Shah has also included a remix of "Awargi". Born and raised in Karachi, Rahim Shah belongs to the wonderfully enchanting valley of Swat. Mother nature has blessed him with captivating vocals. Rahim Shah first gained prominence through his song "Ghum" which is an adaptation of an old Pushto song. He has had some formal singing training as well.
